Her first book, <i><a href="https://global.oup.com/academic/product/the-gospel-of-church-9780197614303">The Gospel of Church: How Mainline Protestants Vilified Christian Socialism and Fractured the Labor Movement</a> </i>(2023) told the story of the Social Gospel movement from the bottom up. Her current work explores how the labor movement debated fair taxes for public education and welfare from the 1780s to the 1960s.</span>
