Kyle Wilkison teaches at a Texas community college and is the author of several works on rural poor people and radical politics in Texas including Yeomen, Sharecroppers and Socialists: Plain Folk Protest in Texas, 1870-1914 (2008). He holds the PhD in History from Vanderbilt University (1995).
