Joseph van der Naald is a PhD student in the Program in Sociology at the Graduate Center, CUNY and a Graduate Student Researcher at the National Center for the Study of Collective Bargaining in Higher Education and the Professions. His research focuses on the genesis of public sector collective bargaining in the United States and the politics of public employment.
